You might have noticed that we were busy taking quite a few photos the past few months! Well, the wait is over and we’re proud to announce that Soiree Stock is fully launched and LIVE! Cue the champagne toast!

The beginning of Soiree Stock began when we were noticing that majority of dental professionals were using the same branded stock that had no POP to it. And when discussing with our clients what type of look they were looking for when it comes to their social media presence, a handful of our dentists state that they want modern and fun and something that is eye-catching to non-dental followers.

Branding is such an important piece of the process when marketing for your business. What colors to pick out, what font you love, and of course your logo. In this day and age, people are aesthetically driven. Especially on social media where all they really see is photograph after photograph.

Taking a pretty image to share on Instagram is always great – but that hardly scratches the surface of how successful businesses are using styled stock photography! You’re able to spruce up a blog post with styled stock, you can turn your social media pages upside down with having a beautiful layout, and finally, increase the engagement you’ve been waiting for, for your business!

Using stock imagery is giving you new ways to create a cohesive brand with the use of stock imagery. And an image can change and bring your brand to life.

Looking for custom photography that fits your brand? Head over to the Work With Us tab and fill out our form!

We hope you love Soiree Stock and please let us know what types of photos you may be looking for! More desktop layouts? Maybe dental and technology? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

It’s not enough to plan great content and post consistently. You actually have to engage with your followers and show your personality beyond your great photos and captions. Being on social media is about getting to know your followers and connecting with them. The greatest brands out there are monitoring their pages regularly and responding to people in real time. Of course, those big brands have big budgets to hire a social media team, but even a little bit of extra effort in this area can go a long way. Luckily, there are apps out there that can help. Here are some of our favorite Instagram engagement tips:

The new Instagram algorithm favors posts with high engagement, so when a post receives a ton of likes and comments, this signals to the algorithm that it’s high-quality content that other users might want to see.  Utilizing effective call-to-actions (CTAs) is one of the best ways to inspire your followers to comment on your posts, which will help drive even more engagement on your Instagram account. According to Wikipedia, a CTA  “is a marketing term used extensively in advertising and selling. It refers to any device designed to prompt an immediate response or encourage an immediate sale.“.

Iconosquare is an app that can tell you exactly what time you should post to receive the most interactions. This is definitely something we recommend for boosting your Instagram engagement, since pinpointing the best time to post isn’t always as obvious as it may seem. Once you get interactions on your Instagram account, make sure you’re following up on them. If someone comments on your post, be sure to comment back. Be fun, easygoing, and likable. Remember, this is a social media app, not a stale networking event.

Follow other people in the industry and be sure to engage with them, too. For example, you might want to follow your favorite health food store or gym and watch for conversations that happen on their page that you might want to jump in on. Someone might “heart” your comment about the new juice blend being offered and hop on over to your page to see what you’re all about. That’s an easy way to gain a new follower you wouldn’t have normally had the chance to get in front of. Remember, social media is one long, ongoing conversation. Make sure you’re getting out there and talking to people!

As a dentist, interacting with your followers on Instagram is important. We don’t normally get a chance to communicate with patients unless they’re sitting in our chair. By creating a positive relationship with patients online, they’ll form a sense of loyalty to your practice. The more positive the interaction, the more likely they’ll be to continue visiting your practice, and tell others about their experiences with you and your team.

I’m sure you’ve all landed on a blog page before for helpful hints or curious about certain topics. But on the business side, why should YOU be having a blog on your website?

What is a blog?

A blog is a simple, easy-to-use platform for connecting with and sharing timely and relevant information with customers. It’s your direct communication channel. Someone could google a certain topic, and you may have already previously written a blog about it and BOOM, there is your website. Your blog is fueling SEO. Search engines absolutely LOVE valuable content and will reward you for it. And it’s so easy! And trust me, you don’t have to be a professional blogger to even do it. It’s beyond easy!

Increase Traffic to Your Site

It starts to give your company a voice. It also gives people a reason to visit your website regularly, especially when you post frequently and deliver quality content that’s entertaining and useful! Having a blog can attract more people to your site. And in that case, it can mean more potential reservations from patients! It is easier access to click on that contact form to get them started in making an appointment. Use keywords in your articles too. List out specific keywords, topics, and any categories you would want your business to be found with. Talking about a certain whitening product that produces AMAZING results?  Use any type of word or related expressions when writing your posts about that whitening service. That way when someone goes to type into Google “Best Dental Whitening Service,” yours could be one of the first to pop up!

Attract New Customers

When someone starts shopping around for a new, anything really, they go straight to Google. And in our case, it is a dental practice. When a potential customer finds informative content that can help engage on the subject they’re in search for, it can help sway their opinion and ultimately play a factor in where they will go to seek dental care.

By having a blog, it can provide another source to keep the connection more personal with your customer. You are connecting directly to your website, so your clients are able to get to know your business or product from the comfort of their home. They do their research and get to know you and your practice before even stepping foot in your door.

By now, most business owners have been exposed to the many reasons why being on Facebook is a good idea. For starters, everyone is on it! It’s the number one social media platform out there. And more than 25 million small businesses, yes that many, are on Facebook today.

But along with all of these well-known reasons for being on Facebook, there are some benefits that still go unnoticed.

Some people think Facebook is strictly a communication platform for personal use. But today it is one of the most effective business tools for helping consumers find the answers they’re looking for!

When you hear a word-of-mouth recommendation, some don’t realize that has always played an important role in helping small businesses reach new customers. It’s the best compliment they receive! But nowadays these peer referrals and recommendations are not just in person,  they are now happening online. It’s time to jump on this bandwagon!

Facebook is a low-cost marketing strategy

When planning out your marketing budget, don’t think that it always has to cost a large amount of money. When using marketing tactics that would usually cost thousands of dollars through other sources, it can be used on Facebook for a fraction of the cost. This is ideal for small to medium businesses with a limited marketing budget.

Connecting With Clients Quicker

Instead of waiting for that email or direct message, when having your Messenger feature enabled, it’s an instant connection! The messaging feature can help your practice with an increase in consumer engagement. Since 2015, the number of messages exchanged between businesses and consumers doubled.

The dental soiree team is back in the city from an amazing trip this past weekend in Los Angeles! They attended Create & Cultivate a creative conference. It was filled with amazing female speakers (take a look below) that gave us eye-opening mentor sessions and met so many incredible attendees that were full of empowerment, hustle, talent, and FUN!

We had a full day crash course basically on how to be the best we can be, and start that blog we always wanted. Or maybe it was that podcast you’ve been dying to release but have been too scared? Among the different panels were women from all different businesses who pretty much told us one thing: be authentic.

Create & Cultivate is a movement for women looking to create & cultivate the career of their dreams. – Create & Cultivate

At Create & Cultivate we met so many other talented women, all while learning tips and tricks from some of the best in the business. While attending, we were exposed to an impactful one-day program full of some of the best workshops, eye-opening mentor sessions, as well as some of the yummiest cocktails, to die for pop-up shops, endless gift bags, and so much more.

We were then introduced to WorkParty.

A motion that empowers women that are pushing for a new meaning to their work, on their own terms. Here at dental soiree, we absolutely fell in love at first sight with this motto. CEO Jaclyn Johnson is releasing her WorkParty book soon and we cannot wait to get our hands on it!! You should probably go pre-order as well here.

We are still in awe of some of the Keynote Speakers we got to see this weekend. We heard from Lauren Conrad and Hannah Skvarla from The Little Market, an online fair trade shop that has some of the most beautiful handmade goods made by artisans around the world.

Chrissy Teigen was also there to really emphasis on why it’s so important to be authentic with your brand! She also let us in on a little secret that she’ll be releasing a new line with Target soon.

And last but of course, one of the biggest female social media icons ever, Kim Kardashian. She spoke about how she balances family with work, and how she has always had a passion for business. She went into detail about how small her team is due to how hard it is to find the right people that will get it done.

We will absolutely be back next year, and we encourage you all to as well! It is an experience that you will always have with you because it doesn’t matter what line of business you are in, there is something there for everyone!

Hello & Happy Wednesday! It is a rainy day here in Chicago, so it is the absolutely perfect time to curl up on the couch with a good book and cup of tea! Need a recommendation? We may have a few! Especially some great books that you may want your team to read too!

Our soiree team is always looking out for the best books. May that be on marketing, design, or sales. Really, you place a book in our hand or give us a great recommendation, we’ll read it! But this week our team read an incredible book that can help any business. No matter what field you work in. We focused more on the dental field though and how this can be incorporated into a practice. We read Integrity Selling By Ron WillinghamThis book touched so many great points, read below to see what key points we took away from it!

Fulfillment Over Knowledge

They spoke about how anyone can really sell anything. Just because you have knowledge of it, doesn’t mean you can really sell it. But one of the truths behind being successful with selling is that you have to have the proper social skills behind it. Yes, anyone can pick up a phone or have a meeting and try to sell a product or service. What really matters though, and what we have seen accomplished at our companies, is that we are here fulfilling NEEDS. We are not selling something they don’t want.

Personal Touch

They also talked about opening our customer’s “mental gate” which is something dentists strive for in their operatories. Doctors are starting to try to disrupt dentistry in the sense that they are more on a personal level. AKA– Feel, Felt, Found. They are connecting with their patient to break down any walls they may have so they can step in and really see what it is they are in need of. They want them to feel that connection with the doctor and their team and make them feel like the only one. And by doing so, they receive excellent care and are more willing to schedule any additional treatment they may have.

Unknown Can Turn Into No

Our team was really intrigued to read about how they discussed when a client says “no.” Sometime’s it’s as easy as a misunderstanding, or miscommunication. That is huge for doctors and their team when presenting treatment. Because your patient may be saying no, only because they don’t know what really is being performed on them. And that leads them to just being uneasy about the unknown. And that is where the open-ended, or “Re-entry Questions” come in. They are wanting you to keep them talking, make them think about why they are saying no. Feelings overrule logic as they stated.

We highly recommend this book for your team to read, and see how they respond with their views! We’d love to hear your thoughts on it as well! Also, have any recommendations of new books for us to read and review? Let us know in the comments!
